Tata Harper, the co-founder of the renowned organic skincare brand Tata Harper Skincare, is transitioning to a new role as the brand’s ambassador and focusing on its philanthropic efforts and storytelling. This shift comes as the acquisition of Tata Harper Skincare by the Korean conglomerate Amorepacific nears completion. Harper, who co-founded the brand in 2010 on a Vermont farm with her then-husband Henry, will step down from her role as President. Instead, she will concentrate on promoting the brand’s mission and values to its global community.
Harper’s new position will allow her to continue championing Tata Harper Skincare’s commitment to “farm to face” natural beauty, while also spearheading its philanthropic initiatives. She expressed confidence in the future of the brand under the new leadership, saying, “Under Shay’s leadership and with the expertise of our talented team, I am confident that Tata Harper Skincare will not only continue to lead the clean beauty industry but also consistently deliver innovative and luxurious products to our cherished community.”
Stepping into Harper’s shoes as the brand’s new Global Brand President is Shay Bennaim, who was most recently the General Manager at Le Labo, a fragrance brand under The Estée Lauder Companies. Bennaim has also held senior roles at Coty. His appointment marks a new chapter for Tata Harper Skincare, as the brand expands its global reach under the support of Amorepacific.
