IGK Hair is set to elevate the dry shampoo game with the launch of its tinted version of the popular First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo. The new First Class After Dark Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo is specially formulated for those with darker hair, offering an innovative solution to absorb oil, eliminate odors, and keep hair feeling fresh for up to seven days.

IGK Hair to Launch Tinted Deep Cleansing Dry Shampoo in 2025 will be available for purchase on IGK’s website and at Ulta, retailing for $32. The product will also be hitting Target stores in March 2025. In a consumer perception study involving 34 participants, 100% of respondents agreed that the dry shampoo completely absorbed excess oil, while 97% confirmed it did not leave a white cast and blended seamlessly with their hair color.

The dry shampoo’s application is simple and effective. To use, shake the can well, hold it 6-8 inches away from the scalp, and section the hair. Spray onto the roots, focusing on the oily areas, and wait for about 30 seconds to allow the powders to activate. Gently massage the product into the scalp, and voilà—clean, refreshed hair in seconds.

Key ingredients such as charcoal help detoxify and control odors, while white tea powder soothes the scalp. The 7% cleansing powders absorb excess oil and sweat, adding grip and volume. Finally, the avocado-coated pigment helps the product adhere to the hair, minimizing the risk of transfer.
