Lola, the organic wellness brand, has ventured into postpartum care with a new collection aimed at improving recovery for new mothers while addressing financial burdens. The line includes FSA-approved products designed to ease the labor recovery process, making them eligible for tax-free spending under Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Lola Launches Postpartum Care Collection to Enhance Access to Reproductive Health in the US. This development is part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting women throughout their reproductive journeys, offering products that emphasize transparency in ingredients. The collection features Organic Cotton Postpartum Pads, Hot and Cold Perineal Gel Pads, and Stretch Mark Prevention Cream, all aimed at providing comfort and care during the postpartum period.
“Every woman deserves access to clean, non-toxic and effective postpartum care,” says Kelly Murphy, General Manager at Lola. “By bringing our expertise in women’s wellness to the postpartum experience, we aim to empower new mothers to embrace their changing bodies with the peace of mind that they don’t have to sacrifice safety and comfort for convenience.”
To further support its customers, Lola has partnered with Sika Health, a platform that allows consumers to use their Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or FSA benefits for online health and wellness purchases. This partnership simplifies the use of these funds, making it easier for new mothers to access postpartum care products without the burden of confusing coverage rules or paperwork.
Lola Launches Postpartum Care Collection to Enhance Access to Reproductive Health in the US. The new collection includes several products, such as the Organic Cotton Postpartum Pads, which are three times more absorbent than regular heavy pads. These extra-long pads are designed with a moisture-wicking top sheet and are free from chlorine bleach, dyes, fragrances, and PFAS. They are made with 100% organic cotton and, like the other products in the collection, are FSA-approved.
The Hot and Cold Perineal Gel Pads provide targeted relief through temperature therapy, with a pack containing 24 disposable liners. These pads offer comfort and convenience, as they can be used with or without pads, and are also FSA-approved.
The Stretch Mark Prevention Cream is formulated with 15 botanical oils and extracts, including apricot oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. This cream provides essential hydration while promoting skin elasticity and collagen production. The hypoallergenic formula excludes parabens, phthalates, and synthetic additives.
The collection is available at Walmart stores across the United States and can be purchased online. In addition, Lola plans to expand its postpartum product range, with exclusive items launching at Target in March 2025.
Lola also offers a range of period care products made from 100% organic cotton, as well as gynecologist-approved sexual wellness items created with natural ingredients.
Reproductive care continues to gain visibility in the personal care sector, as the focus on women’s health grows. Major companies are increasingly addressing maternal care needs. For instance, Dove launched its “Expecting Care” campaign to raise awareness of the Black maternal health gap, highlighting the importance of equitable care for Black mothers during pregnancy and childbirth. Similarly, Lansinoh introduced Postpartum Padsicles, providing hygienic relief with products designed to soothe and heal during the postpartum period.
With its new postpartum care line, Lola is playing a vital role in the growing movement to make reproductive health and recovery products more accessible to women across the United States.
