First Aid Beauty Announces Voluntary Recall of Ultra Repair Cream

First Aid Beauty has voluntarily recalled its Coconut Vanilla-scented Ultra Repair Cream after over 2,500 jars were mistakenly distributed that were intended for quarantine. The recall, which was initiated on December 23, 2024, affects a total of 2,756 jars, all of which were sold exclusively through the brand’s direct-to-consumer website, http://FirstAidBeauty.com , within the United States.

The recall was prompted by a deviation in the brand’s manufacturing process, which led to the distribution of the affected product. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified the recall as a Class II risk, which refers to a situation where exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, although the likelihood of serious harm is considered low.

The impacted jars of Ultra Repair Cream are the 14-ounce Coconut Vanilla variant, with UPC code 8 15517 02955 6. The affected lot numbers are 24D44, with an expiration date of April 10, 2026, and 24D45, with an expiration date of April 11, 2026.

First Aid Beauty issued a statement on their website confirming the error: “On November 20, 2024, we discovered that we inadvertently sold 14 oz Ultra Repair Cream Coconut Vanilla on our direct-to-consumer site. This product was not intended for market sale.” The recall, which is being handled proactively, includes steps to notify customers. The company has already contacted impacted consumers via email, offering them a replacement product—Ultra Repair Cream in Grapefruit scent—and instructions to stop using the Coconut Vanilla variant and dispose of the affected jars.

This recall only applies to products sold on First Aid Beauty’s website, and the company has assured customers that the issue does not affect any other product lines or retail locations.
