Berry Global Expands Packaging with New Sustainable Solutions

Berry Global Expands Packaging by introducing three smaller sizes to its Stick and Refill range. These new sizes are designed for cosmetics, lip care, deodorant, and sun care products. The expansion of this range supports the growing consumer demand for sustainable, refillable packaging options in personal care.

New Smaller Sizes for Greater Flexibility

As part of its B Circular range, Berry Global Expands Cosmetic Packaging with new 15ml, 20ml, and 25ml refill sticks. These compact sizes offer brands increased flexibility for products like deodorants, skincare, and sunscreens. The sticks are made from recyclable PET and PP materials, making them eco-friendly choices for modern consumers.

Sustainability at the Core of Design

Berry Global’s new packaging solutions retain the same conical design, straight base, and cap as the larger versions. These refillable sticks allow for a hygienic application process while providing a convenient, mess-free refilling experience. The mono-material PP design enhances recyclability, further supporting sustainability goals. Brands can also use up to 100% CleanStream PCR PP in these packages, ensuring reduced environmental impact.

Reducing Waste with Refillable Design

Berry Global Expands Packaging with its refillable designs, which reduce plastic use by up to 62% compared to traditional packaging. This packaging innovation contributes to minimizing waste and encouraging consumers to make more sustainable choices. Additionally, the 25ml stick complies with PPWR 2030 regulations and features recyclable materials where facilities exist.

Meeting Consumer Demand for Sustainability

The growing consumer preference for eco-friendly packaging has made Berry’s new offerings essential in addressing packaging waste concerns. With these new smaller sizes, Berry Global meets market demand while also contributing to reducing carbon emissions. For instance, its recent partnership with True, a men’s skincare brand, highlights the eco-conscious direction. The refillable deodorant system reduces carbon emissions by 53%, offering a sustainable alternative to single-use packaging.
