Unveiled at Paris Packaging Week (January 27-28, 2025), this 10 ml purse spray is the first of its kind to be directly refillable from the perfume bottle, offering a quick, clean, and secure solution. According to Aptar Beauty, this breakthrough technology is set to revolutionize the on-the-go refillable bottle market, creating an entirely new segment within the perfume industry.

With the Nomad Refill, consumers can now refill their 10 ml purse spray in under 5 seconds. Aptar Beauty aims to elevate the at-home refill experience by focusing on the convenience of on-the-go perfume use. The Nomad Refill is designed to make refilling simpler than ever, eliminating the need for additional accessories thanks to its patented integrated connector.

The process is straightforward: after removing the pump from the fragrance bottle, the Nomad Refill connector is simply screwed onto the perfume bottle, flipped upside down, and pulled slightly to initiate the refill. The refill automatically stops once the bottle is full, leaving room for expansion to prevent overfilling and to maintain pressure limits. This technology also prevents leaks and ensures the fragrance remains untouched by air, preserving its olfactory integrity.

Consumer studies confirm that the Nomad Refill technology offers a variety of advantages. A qualitative study revealed the system as secure, quick, and easy to use. Additionally, a quantitative survey conducted by IPSOS in France and China showed that fragrance buyers rated Nomad Refill highly across all product categories. 97% of Chinese consumers and 81% of French consumers expressed interest in purchasing the product, with ultra-luxury and niche fragrance buyers showing the strongest engagement in France.

The Nomad Refill is also highly customizable, allowing brands to incorporate a variety of design options, including coloration, metal engraving, and intricate finishes. Brands can even collaborate with Aptar Beauty’s custom team to develop a personalized luxury casing.
