Interparfums, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: IPAR) has announced record-breaking results for the third quarter of 2024, reflecting its strong performance in the global fragrance market. According to the company, Q3 net sales reached unprecedented levels, driven by robust demand across major regions, solid performance of established brands, and the successful integration of new additions like Roberto Cavalli and Lacoste.

Jean Madar, Chairman and CEO of Interparfums, highlighted the growth across key markets in the company’s Qa3 2024 results. North America, Western Europe, and Asia-Pacific saw sales increase by 12%, 25%, and 15%, respectively. Central and South America experienced a 20% growth, while Eastern Europe achieved a 23% increase after overcoming earlier supply chain constraints. With plans to expand promotional programs in China by 2025 and measured growth efforts set for 2026, Interparfums is well-positioned for continued success in emerging markets.

Seasonal initiatives, such as the launch of gift sets during the summer, also contributed to the record-breaking quarter. These gift sets, now in higher demand across Europe and the Middle East, have strengthened holiday season preparations. Madar emphasized the importance of the newly added Roberto Cavalli and Lacoste fragrance lines, which accounted for 10% of third-quarter sales. Combined, these brands are expected to generate over $100 million in sales for 2024.

On the financial side, Chief Financial Officer Michel Atwood noted that operating income increased by 22%, reaching $106 million with an operating margin of 25%, compared to 23.7% last year. The company’s advertising and promotion (A&P) expenditures rose moderately to ensure sustained momentum into 2025, particularly during the holiday season.

Interparfums reaffirmed its 2024 guidance of $1.45 billion in net sales and $5.15 earnings per share, signaling confidence in its growth trajectory. Looking ahead, the company plans to announce its 2025 guidance on November 12, 2024.
