Kosé Corporation, a leading beauty company and No. 20 on Beauty Packaging’s 2024 Top Companies list, has successfully acquired Pañpuri, a niche Thai beauty, fragrance, and wellness brand. This acquisition marks a significant move for Kosé as it expands its portfolio to include regionally rooted brands with a strong heritage and sophisticated product design.
Kosé Corporation President and CEO, Kazutoshi Kobayashi, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating, “We believe that Pañpuri’s traditional approach from ancient times in Thailand and sophisticated product design, which creates cosmetics that feel good to use and enrich the mind on top of being effective, highly align with our constant approach since our establishment to continually pursue sensory quality while inheriting tradition and innovation.”
This acquisition supports Kosé’s long-term strategy to diversify its product range and expand into the Global South markets, further enhancing its global presence. Pañpuri, founded in 2003 in Bangkok by Vorravit Siripark, has made a name for itself with its premium fragrances and wellness products inspired by Thai heritage. The brand is preparing to introduce new lines of fragrances, body care, skincare, home fragrances, and spa experience products that will be crafted using clean and sustainable formulas.
CEO Vorravit Siripark shared his excitement about the partnership, saying, “This partnership with Kosé Corporation marks a transformative milestone for Pañpuri. The deal includes the acquisition of 1,062,702 shares and is expected to close on December 30. The remaining shares are planned to be acquired over the next three to five years. Prior to the acquisition, Pañpuri was owned by private equity firm Lakeshore Capital, along with Siripark and his family.
