Growth Plan
With the acquisition, Stripes Beauty plans to leverage L Catterton’s investment to drive both domestic and international growth, enhance marketing strategies, expand its team, and develop new products. One of the brand’s new offerings will be The Dream Date, a sleep support supplement featuring melatonin, magnesium, and red clover. Whitney Casey, a venture partner who led the deal for L Catterton, remarked, “As consumer-focused investors, we believe in Stripes Beauty’s mission. To support this growth, the brand has appointed new executive chair Debra Perelman, a former CEO of Revlon, and president Cara Kamenev, a former L’Oréal executive.
