These collections will be introduced at an exclusive in-house event on July 31 and August 1, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The formulations have been developed using insights from Meiyume’s proprietary Beauty Intelligence Platform, which leverages artificial intelligence to analyze trends and consumer preferences.

For their 2024 NPD collection, Meiyume utilized their in-house Beauty Intelligence Platform (BIP) to analyze current and emerging trends in beauty formulations and packaging. This innovative approach focused on ingredients gaining trust among consumers and the latest beauty claims that are rising in popularity. Meiyume utilizes AI to create four beauty collections, revolutionizing how trends and consumer preferences are harnessed.

“Our BIP provides real-time product monitoring, insights into consumer sentiment, and a detailed analysis of top-performing product claims, all based on real feedback,” explained the B2B beauty supplier. Unlike traditional trend reports, this platform offers fresh data and competitive insights, tailored to brands’ specific needs. Meiyume utilizes AI to create four beauty collections, focusing on localization and innovation, especially for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market, with lightweight textures and Asian-origin active ingredients.

Among these, the Skintelligent line is designed for delicate skin, with five SKUs aimed at nurturing the skin’s protective barrier. Formulated for sensitive, acne-prone skin, this collection uses popular ingredients like peptides, centella asiatica, and ectoine to offer gentle yet effective solutions. Next, the VersaBella collection embraces the skinimalism trend, offering multifunctional products with clean beauty formulations for a minimalist skincare approach. This seven-SKU range includes hybrid products with sun protection and a natural finish, targeting urban, digitally savvy consumers.

The Blue Biotech collection celebrates marine-based skincare with three SKUs that not only enhance skin health but also protect marine ecosystems. Lastly, VitaTress, a haircare line for Gen Z and young adults, focuses on scalp health, hair density, and anti-aging technologies, using popular ingredients like ginseng, caffeine, and bamboo charcoal.

These four collections will debut at Meiyume’s private event, “Your Beauty Boost: New Ideas, Your Success,” in Jakarta from July 31st to August 1st, 2024. Meiyume plans to launch another set of collections from their UK plant later in the year.
