Sephora opens its first Yorkshire store at the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield, marking a significant milestone. Sephora’s new store in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre will be the beauty retailer’s ninth UK location. This vibrant shopping destination boasts over 290 retail outlets and 50 dining options, making it the perfect place for Sephora’s entry into Yorkshire. Sephora’s first Yorkshire store will offer customers a wide range of beauty products, from makeup to skincare and fragrance.

Guillaume Motte, Sephora Global President and CEO, emphasized that the company aims to open 20 stores in the UK by 2027. Sarah Boyd, Sephora UK Managing Director, shared her excitement about the expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to continue our exciting UK expansion plans with the opening of our first store in Yorkshire at Meadowhall in Sheffield.”

A Beauty Playground in Sephora Opens First Yorkshire Store

The store as part of its regional retail strategy to create an immersive and inclusive shopping experience. The new store will offer Sephora’s signature beauty playground, featuring global and local brands like Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Tarte Cosmetics, and Sephora’s own products.

Sarah Boyd also highlighted the importance of this new location for Sephora’s UK expansion. “Meadowhall is the perfect location for us to continue driving that experience in this dynamic, thriving region,” Boyd added.

Sephora’s Growing Presence in the UK

This opening comes after Sephora opened stores in major cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Newcastle. With the addition of the Sephora Opens First Yorkshire Store, Sephora continues to grow its retail footprint across the UK. The retailer’s eighth store will open in Liverpool this spring, further solidifying its commitment to the UK market.

Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, expressed excitement about Sephora’s arrival, calling it a fantastic addition to the shopping centre.
