Alpha Bio Launches a Major Leap in Green Chemistry
With a €130 million investment, Alpha Bio will begin production by late 2027, converting 44,000 metric tons of plant sugars into cutting-edge bioproducts. The new facility in Kotka, Finland, will use IFF’s Designed Enzymatic Biomaterials (DEB) technology to deliver consistent, high-purity biopolymers.
