Euroitalia acquires the Moschino fragrance division for €98 million.

The beauty manufacturer, which has held Moschino’s fragrance license for a long time, has reached an agreement to purchase the brand’s beauty rights from Aeffe Group.

Euroitalia has successfully acquired the beauty business rights of Moschino from the Italian fashion group Aeffe for €98 million. The deal encompasses all aspects of Moschino’s beauty portfolio, including cosmetics, fragrances, scented candles, and textile perfumes. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Euroitalia, which has held the exclusive Moschino fragrance license since 1987, developing popular perfumes such as Cheap & Chic, Glamourous Fruity Floral, Toy 2, and Gold Fresh Couture.

Euroitalia acquires the Moschino fragrance division for €98 million. As part of the agreement, Euroitalia has already paid Aeffe Group €39.6 million, with the remaining amount due on November 29. “Over the years, Euroitalia has proved to be an excellent partner with whom we have built a very successful path, launching iconic products that have become benchmarks in the fragrance market,” said Massimo Ferretti, President of Aeffe Group. He added, “This transaction marks a further step in our collaboration, which I believe will bring great benefits to both parties.”

Aeffe Group indicated that the transaction would provide an injection of liquidity to help reduce the group’s net financial position, thereby positively impacting its income statement. It also aims to support the expansion of its brands, as stated in their announcement. Euroitalia acquires the Moschino fragrance division for €98 million. Giovanni Sgariboldi, founder and President of Euroitalia, expressed his excitement about the acquisition: “Our bond with Moschino dates back to the era of its founder, Franco Moschino, with whom we had the privilege of working and innovating the fragrance market.”

He further noted, “Within our portfolio, Moschino has always represented a challenge, not only on a technical level but also, and perhaps above all, creatively, as from the very beginning the brand has imposed itself on the market with its ability to amaze and excite. Euroitalia acquires the Moschino fragrance division for €98 million.
