Jimmy Choo, in partnership with Inter Parfums, has launched a new fragrance iteration, Man Extreme, a bold reimagining of its original men’s scent. This new fragrance is housed in a redesigned bottle, moving away from the original square-shaped, silver-capped flask to a striking scarlet lacquered design. The bold red color of the bottle is complemented by silver imprints of the Jimmy Choo Man Extreme name, with a red leather-effect lid adding an extra touch of elegance.
First introduced in 2014, the Jimmy Choo Man fragrance became an aromatic and woody classic, with subsequent flankers like Jimmy Choo Man Intense and Jimmy Choo Man Aqua expanding the brand’s range. Now, Jimmy Choo Man Extremetakes the signature scent to a new level, embodying adventure, energy, and boldness. This new fragrance is a potent, thrilling fougère designed for men who crave an intense and exciting experience.
Anne Flipo, the master perfumer behind Jimmy Choo Man Extreme, explained the creative process, saying, “To create this fragrance, I thought about the different shades of red and how to represent them olfactively. One ingredient came to me immediately, red thyme oil and its burning freshness, which brings an incredible intensity to the trail.” The top notes feature red thyme and black pepper, while the heart notes include geranium and clary sage. The fragrance finishes with a dry-down of amber woods, tonka beans, and vetiver, creating a warm, sensual signature scent.
Tanguy Guesnet, another perfumer involved in the project, added, “The idea was also to modernize the classic fougère structure with a sensual warmth thanks to the tonka bean and amber woods that create a real signature.”
Jimmy Choo Man Extreme is currently available exclusively at Dillard’s, with plans for nationwide retail distribution starting on December 1st. This release offers fragrance enthusiasts a thrilling new take on the classic Jimmy Choo Manscent, combining modern sophistication with an adventurous spirit.
